The Kawai BS20S was a direct competitor to the Yamaha U1, U2 in the late 1980's and early 90’s. Very similar in looks, size, and sound, it is often hard to tell these apart. The Kawai BS20S has a slightly bigger soundboard than the Yamaha U2, and will put out just that much more in sound. This is a fun piano to play. It’s voiced a little darker than most other upright pianos.

This piano was originally made in 1989-90, and has been reconditioned for the New Zealand market. All reconditioning is done by the Takamoto company in Japan
