The Korg magnetune incorporates a movable ring that allows the magnet to be rotated 360 degrees. This offers you the possibility of attaching it to any magnetised area with the display positioned conveniently at any angle to suit your eye line.  

The LED indicates the string number that’s closest to the string you’re playing, letting you know at a glance which string is being tuned. Illumination of both arrows occurs when the string is in tune. When the lower arrow icon is blinking you are flat and when the upper arrow is blinking you are sharp… simple!. The LED will blink rapidly the further away from correct pitch that you are and will slow down the closer you get to pitch correctness.

The body is compact and light-weight. The diameter is just 1.3” (33mm) which is slightly larger than a bottle cap or a wristwatch, meaning that when it is attached to the back of a headstock it is virtually invisible to any audience, therefore not taking away any aesthetic of your instrument. Also with the elimination of the clip, the weight with the battery installed is a mere 11 grams (just less than an ounce). This ensures that, when attached to your guitar, it will be unnoticeable as an added weight. The magnet is strong enough to withstand even the most vigorous and animated of guitar playing.

Lastly, the Magnetune’s simple design focuses on just the essentials, enabling it to provide continuous operation of approximately 30 hours. After three minutes of silence the auto power-off function turns off the power, saving on battery life so you don’t have to worry about changing the batteries for as long as possible.
