Martin's new retro series offers vintage guitar sound in a new guitar - sound patches for the pickup in this om-28 were created using a vintage 1934 000-28 (long-scale) played through various vintage and boutique microphones. - 000-size (om) body of solid rosewood & sitka spruce, scalloped 1/4" top bracing, ivoroid binding, herringbone top trim, delmar tortoise pickguard. Modified low oval neck profile with high performance taper (1-3/4" wide at nut, 2-1/8" at 12th fret, 2-3/16" string spacing at saddle), ebony fretboard with diamond & square markers, nickel butterbean tuners (vintage style, open gear). Full gloss body finish, aging toner on top. Martin wooden archtop hardshell case (#433), msp7100 strings. - f1 aura plus pickup system includes easy mode with 3 easy-to-use presets, and performance mode with a wealth of user-controlled options for combining the straight pickup signal with 9 microphone sound images. Unobtrusive side-mounted controls.
