The Yamaha MC10BL is a high-quality piano made in Japan that has a slightly lower quality than the world famous U1, but a lower price tag to match. The MC10 is a Japanese gray market model which succeeded the traditional U1 in the late eighties /early ninties in Japan. It is similar
to the U10BL from Japan but has the split hinged top with the fallboard lock. Both the MC10 and the U10BL, though manufactured in Japan, are not the same quality as a U1 structurally.
